Floral Prints galore

I stumbled upon this great editorial from Cosmopolitan called Eye Catching Style with model Nataliya Piro about mixing patterns. Mainly florals, stripes and tribal prints. I really want to start experimenting with patterns but I'm a little afraid, also I don't have a lot of patterns with me at school to work with so it might not happen for awhile.

But these pictures really made me want to wear something with florals or a flower on it, so I stole my friend's shirt for the day to wear. It also reminds me of Summer Fin from 500 Days of Summer so I liked the shirt even more!



I love the back of this tank top so much, how cute is that ribbon!?

    Hmm... I'm not usually a fan of mixing florals/prints but after seeing that spread --- particularly the image on the bottom left with that fantastic skirt and checkered blouse --- I'm inspired to give it a go!

    You have some really beautiful posts and an effortless-looking style. The blue shirt you're wearing is lovely!

    I've been trying to be more bold with patterns too! Usually I just stick to solids but I need a change and feel very inspired after this post.

    and I completely agree about the bow, shirts that look like they have separate necklaces but really the necklaces are part of the shirt are my latest clothing fetish...
    also, love that red lipstick you've got on! what color is that?
