And if any of you love this look, I suggest going to Forever 21 because they usually have something that is circus inspired, right now I would look at Twist (right now inspired by Alice in Wonderland), but the Twist collection they had called "Cirque 21" in the summer (late July) that was inspired by the circus fully. that is a really beautiful editorial. there's an old one with jessica stam in it that's circus inspired, which i loved as well. i have to say i like a lot of things circus-inspired, especially after having seen a cirque du soleil performance (i really recommend this!!).

IM OBSESSED WITH THE CIRCUS! This post just made my day. I wish I could have bought every single F21 circus inspired piece. How do you find the foreign editorials? Google? I looove looking at them (especially circus ones). Do you remember those Juicy Couture ads from the fall with the stilt walkers and ringmasters...I nearly died they were so pretty! (ps-this obsession with circus comes from going to circus camp for like 6 years as a kid)

ReplyDeleteThe last time I went to the circus, I was 9 years old and was picked out of the audience to ride in a cart that was pulled by a "unicorn" (which was really just a goat with a horn attached to the top of it's head covered in glitter). Definitely one of the most magical moments of my adolescent life.
I can't wait to go down to Forever and check out the Alice stuff! So cute. Also, I love that your blog is "Marissa Explains It All!" I loved Clarissa Explains it all. :) Thanks for commenting on my blog, made my day.

I love the Alice stuff, so cute!! when i was a child i was terrified of the circus, even these first photos sort of give me the creeps, but in a good way?? I like them.
