Pot of Gold

Well guys, I'm back. Or attempting to be back. I started yet another internship at Glamour Magazine for the Style Director and her assistant this time, instead of in the fashion closet. I'm learning so much about styling and so excited. Main points about my internship thus far: I was standing in the elevator next to Amy Astley on Monday, and I also (finally) saw Grace Coddington at her finest. The Conde Nast building, is the best building to walk in and out of.

I wore this to go out to eat with my boyfriend, surprisingly most of the outfit was free! (Perks of being an intern!) Thanks to my wonderful bosses. I got these wedges as a present to myself for making dean's list for Spring semester.

Pattern Perfect: London Fashion Week Fall 2011

It's time for my favorites from London Fashion Week, there was less favorites from London. I wasn't so impressed by a lot of the collections. But the ones I did like, I loved. London's collections were filled with patterns, color blocking and gorgeous fabrics.

Acne - The structure of all of these looks is perfect, the shapes and the colors go so well together.

Peter Pilotto - the layering is genius, and I love the light blue tights!

Jonathan Saunders - his collections are always a favorite of mine, ever since he did a line with Target and I fell in love with the color blocking dress I bought years ago. This collection again is full of color, patterns and gorgeous skirts/lengths.

Christoper Kane - well. this just blew my mind. the way Tavi compared the detailing of most of this collection so 90's teen inspired. I love this idea, and how he put it together with great pieces.

Mulberry - the matching skirt and jacket combinations in this collection that I never thought I liked, I loved. Mulberry did this matching combination so well that it looked so chic. That quilted leather combination? come on, so cute! Not to mention the bags are amazing (as always)

Matthew Williamson - Matthew is another London designer I've loved for many years. He always does amazing things, and this collection is equally amazing! I love the patterns and colors used, and textures!

Milan is coming!
