I love She & Him

Okay readers! It's finally time to tell you all about seeing She & Him and seeing Zooey in real life! Unfortunately it was raining and I had to travel into New York City with my boyfriend, it wasn't the best day to go in, but it was so worth it! We got there an hour before the doors opened and I some how sneaked my way to the front of the line (I guess being small does pay off sometimes!) I was literally maybe two feet max away from the stage, right smack in the middle! Best spots I could have asked for (I was scared I wouldn't be able to see - I always get stuck behind someone tall). BUT She & Him had asked that no pictures, video or audio be taken at all........I was so upset!

....but don't worry readers, I never disappoint! During the 2nd encore (there was three) I whipped out my camera and said **ck it, it's going to be over soon anyway! I sneaked a handful of pictures just for my wonderful readers.

Their opening act was The Chapin Sisters (more about them soon) and then She & Him came on. They played almost both full records (Volume 1 and Volume 2) and even played an M. Ward song, there was not much talking to the audience it was more song playing but it was fine with me, Zooey sounded even better in person and has such an amazing voice! M. Ward is completely insane on the guitar and is awkward in the best way possible.

Sorry I couldn't get better ones, I'm waiting for some to eventually show up online, theres already some from the night before! If I find any I'll post them too!

I found this editorial in the five minutes that I have before I have a million other things to do and thought I'd post it while I can! I thought everything in this editorial was the most wearable I've seen in awhile, I love how Harper's Bazaar really thought about the summer trends and incorporated them in theses looks like: clogs, denim on denim, maxi dresses, khaki and more! I promise, more from the She & Him concert later tonight!

Le Chic

Since I got to go home this weekend, I finally got my Calivintage giveaway bag from Rare Treasure! I was so excited to finally see it in person, and I got the cutest wrapping with a little not from Robyn to congratulate me on winning! It was so sweet. I put it to use that day and have been using it since, it holds a lot more than I thought it would which is a plus. I love it!

Down to the Lines

The new Alberta Ferretti Spring/Summer 2010 Ads blew me away once I finally stumbled upon them today thanks to The Clothes Horse tumblr (a great source for inspiration!), I'm usually not very impressed but I am by these ads, they are gorgeous and the colors are amazing!

A vision in white

Once again, US Vogue stuns me. This beautiful editorial What's White Now showcases with Jessica Stam and Heidi Mount as visions in white, and only white. The styling is beautiful, Brana Wolf you are amazing!

Today was again beautiful outside (minus the wind) and I had my car at school so me and my boyfriend ventured into town for the first time in awhile did some shopping, went into some amazing antique stores and book stores. I found some stuff on sale at Urban Outfitters that you guys will see soon in the upcoming outfit posts (since I tend to wear new clothing as soon as I buy it) and I found an amazing vintage dress and gloves at an antique estate sale shop! I'll show you those soon as well.

Summer Chic

I found this great editorial from April 2010 Vogue Nippon, it says everything about summer clothing that it should. All the clothes are so chic, so perfect and have the best colors, fabrics and patterns. This totally inspired me and I really just can't wait for summer now!
