English Goodies!

I'm so excited to say that I'm in the middle of doing a little care package exchange with the lovely Liz from Lizzy Punch. She recently went to England and brought me back some amazing goodies that I wanted to quickly share with all of you!

I got a gorgeous scarf in my favorite color, which Liz remembered (thank you liz!), the cutest ID case ever by Cath Kidston. Definitely check out her site and all her amazing vintage inspired bags and accessories - if I knew about her before these iPhone cases would have been mine! I also got a great local magazine called Velvet (I love the name!)from Cambridge that has great fashion insight inside, Liz even told me her favorite pages to look at! The ID case came in the cutest paper bag that I'm saving, it's too adorable to throw away and I even got a little card and a happy birthday wish :)
When I'm in NYC all of next week I'll be picking some cute stuff up for her as well as a little gift for my blog so I can host my first giveaway! So stay tuned for that.

Thanks again Liz, I love everything and thank you for the blog award as well!
Check out Liz's blog Lizzy Punch, it's great!

Surprise!

Recent News:

I. Today was a long day of class and traveling home but to my surprise I came home to an e-mail from Calivintage saying that I won the Rare Treasure Vintage canvas bag giveaway! I'm so excited because I usually never win anything, and this bag is so so cute I can't wait to use it!

Visit Rare Treasure Vintage on Etsy, they have such great vintage stuff!

II. Also, finally I got to order my dream booties from Urban Outfitters, they were originally $88 but I stalked them for about three months and they finally went on sale to $40! I automatically ordered them and I came home today to a box on my front porch. They are gorgeous, and surprisingly so comfortable.

What are you wearing right now? A cream shirt from Anthropologie with forest animals on it and grey leggings from Target

What is your favorite piece from the Sportsgirl summer collection?
Stripe Babydoll Dress

Post a picture that means "summer" to you.

taken in Union Square, NYC

What tracks are essential on your summer playlist?
She & Him, Au Revoir Simone, Vampire Weekend, M. Ward, 500 Days of Summer soundtrack, Good Old War, and maybe some Taylor Swift/Jonas Brothers (don't hate)

Describe your perfect summer:
Picnics in the park with my boyfriend, hopefully working and getting $$, day trips to the zoo and the aquarium, the beach, Princeton, New Hope, Redbank and relaxing.

London Impression

London fashion week FW2010 favorites-

Clements Riberio - so wearable, and so beautiful. The embellishing is gorgeous!

Erdem - blew my mind, in love with all the patterns so much the colors are so rich and wonderful for fall, plus the metallics.

Paul Smith Women - love the girly rocker mix, with the ripped fishnets and the floral print dresses, the colors are wonderful and so are the shoes!

Twenty8Twelve - the velvet, thats all I have to say about this.

Overall, London impressed me as usual, but my favorite was Erdem - they were truly amazing the attention to detail in each garment is gorgeous and I love the color palette so so much.

Also, thank you to Alix from Alix Darling
for the Princess award, you rock!

So many outfits, so little time

I finally got around to taking some outfit pictures in the past couple of days. I'm really excited to be finally trying out the turban look and thanks to Calivintage I finally figured out how to do it, although I don't have the American Apparel sash to try it with I figured out how to make my silk scarf into one although it was a little too short. I think it looks pretty good, but I have to get the courage to actually wear it around school - I already get enough looks because I actually dress up haha!

This is the first time I've actually worn the Rodarte for Target dress I was so excited to buy, it's a little dressy for day to day wear but I finally figured out how to dress it down, and I really like the way the tulle looks coming out of my skirt :)!

I enterd the Forever 21 and Chictopia contest for Valentine's day with this picture, you can vote for me here

Everything from Forever 21, boots thrifted

I also entered the H&M and blue contest on Lookbook, it's not my favorite outfit but I thought I'd try, hype it here

Everything H&M but the heels and the scarf is from NYC

Also I got another Best Blogger Award from Amy at The Bargin Hunter Extraordinaire, and I got the Happy 101 award from Andrea at Sitting In Booths! You can find my ten facts about myself here.
Also I have to list ten things that make me happy, so here they are:
1. My dog Crystal
2. Fashion
3. My boyfriend
4. Cheese Ravioli in butter
5. Polaroids
6. My family
7. DIY projects
8. Going to New York City
9. Seeing the skyline of NYC from my dorm
10. Styling new outfits

Thank you both so much :) Bloggers check them out, they both have great blogs!

March

So here's a little background on this post, I am obsessed, in love, and idolize Zooey Deschanel. I love her style, her hair, her eyes, her voice! She's amazing... ANYWAYS, I'm sure you all know she's in the band She & Him with M. Ward (one of my most favorite singers), and they have a new album coming out in March so naturally they are going on tour (yay!). I tried and did not succeed with getting pre-sale tickets to the show in NYC, but my wonderful boyfriend woke up when I had class and managed to get tickets when they went on sale to the public! So I am officially seeing my idol, Zooey Deschanel preform with M. Ward on March 30th, as you can tell I'm over excited and crossing my fingers that I can somehow meet her.... (I would cry probably)

so back to my post....
Zooey pictures for you:

She's gorgeous, and has the best clothes!

In other news I want to thank Kelsea from Kelsealaurel for the Best Blog Award! She has a wonderful blog mainly for nail polish colors, she gets the greatest colors!

& Bel from So sweet, So chic, So trendy... for the Creative Blogger award! Bel's blog is adorable and she has the cutest outfits. Thank you both so much, I'm so happy to have all these awards, it means so much to me! Thank you to all my readers, commenters and followers for all your support!
